No Activation email

    Hi All,

    I am hoping someone is able to help me out. I searched the support tickets and found a lot of people with the problem. Thankfully some have been able to solve the problem, but with the pointers given I have not been able to solve the problem.

    When people register on my website they are not getting the activation email. I tried the SMTP plugin, but that didn’t solve it. I don’t have a bp-custom.php in the files. When I create one the text in this file is in the header of my website.

    Any help is really appreciated!

    @soccercoach12345 WP/BP versions? Where are you hosted? Have you checked if activation emails are sent and received if you deactivated BuddyPress?

    Thank you for the support questions.

    I use the newest versions of both (WP 3.7.1 and BP 1.8.1)

    I am hosted at Hostgator, domain through GoDaddy.

    I have checked, if I deactivate BuddyPress all email work fine.

    Hi There, I am having the same issue my first 3 registered users went thru not i have 2 that didn’t . They show up in Users in the dashboard. But not showing up on the site as users?

    Still no solution. This is getting so frustrating! Anyone who is able to help?
