No content in emails

    I’m having a real problem getting welcome pack to work. It’s just what I need, but the emails come out blank. I’m sure that it is something that I’m doing wrong but I can’t figure it out.

    Also, when editing the emails using the email editor, when I try to do a preview, I get a 404 error. I’m sure that this is something related.

    I’ve removed the other plugins one at a time looking for a conflict but no joy. Any ideas? Is there something that I’m missing?

    Previews aren’t meant to work. What email template are you using?
    The default should work. Be sure to keep any custom HTML you add very simple. Also, test in another email client. It could be lots of things

    Thanks for the quick reply. Understand now that preview doesn’t work – I verified this on another site that I operate. I have some more information.

    The initial email does not contain any content but has the format. This is true regardless of which of the two templates that I use. I’ve not put in any HTML.

    But I have more information. I also use the Buddypress pending activation management plugin. The first email upon registration is blank, but if I resend the key using the pending activation plugin, that email is properly formatted. Thus it appears to be only the first email after initial registration.

    Any thoughts?

    Might be a conflict with that other plugin, then. I’ll check it out at the weekend (maybe) when I get some time.

    Thanks for the pointer. After a bit of trial and error I found the incompatible plugin. It was Sociable 3.0 for WordPress.
