No preview image for uploaded video

    When I upload a video using the Media option of the users home page, the video loads and plays but there is no preview image.

    Is there a way of forcing a preview image?

    So, two weeks have gone by and I’m still trying to find a way of using my own ffmpeg on the server.

    Do you mean a static image or a a real 10 or 20 seconds teaser ?

    When one uploads a video on a site which handles media, a preview image is always shown of the video. In BP-Media, only a black image shows and I am looking for a plugin or means by which to fix this so that I can use my own ffmpeg tools on the server as well.
