    Hello @patrickhitches
for me is …/groups/create/step/group-details/ the working link, not …./classes/create/step/group-details/
Is it that you changed “groups” into “classes” anywhere?

have you tried it in the default template first?

@byrontik – I just tried the default template and it actually is working … Does this mean I have to trash the theme I just bought? :o

I would first try and see if I could make any sense of what happens in the PHP files, see what causes the error, file a topic on the findings, also see if you can find any similar topics that have been listed.
Stas will most likely point you in the right direction, when you ask the right question, there are a few other forums on templates breaking, you can always make the basic template look the same through creating a buddypress child theme, which is well documented. if php or web development are not your skills it will pay to hire someone to help out. hope this helps, gotta go kids are calling

I really appreciate the help @byrontik .. At this point, I have the theme reintegrated and I’m getting the same page error only when I click on the “courseware” tab. I posted the issue on the themes support platform (where I bought it) and am waiting on a response. web development is definitely not my thing so I wouldn’t know how to proceed with that creating a child theme. I’ll keep you posted if I get this resolved.

If their support platform isn’t able to help, does this sound like something you could help me resolve?

Great, just remember that links to the actual breaking page and any further descriptions will help. the guys from courseware will most likely be able to give little support on failures with custome templates, they are trying to work on getting courseware up to version 1. I’ll contact you on through your site to pass on some suggestions on php people I know

@bryontik – I had the support from the theme working on the issue too and we discovered that if we changed the Layouts settings to resemble this http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/685/layoutsg.jpg/ under BuddyPress it resolved the issue. I think I see a little layout mishaps though, but this at least got me past the blank screen. I’ll keep you posted.

And yes! I’d love to get you in the course. I’m working with 12 students come next week for the first wave, but once I get a self learning course fluid and ready for action I’d be glad to have you take it (no charge of course for your generous help!).

I’ll keep you posted if the layout gets funky as I set this up…
