The updates dont come through as edited, the lists dont work and they are formated like this:

line1line2line3 as opposed to

line1
line2
line3

Any ideas?

Check your stylesheet. bp-default (and child themes by extension) zero out list styles.

I have the same issue… Do you were successful in fixing the problem? If yes, how you managed it?
