@revolutionfrance Make sure you check off each count you want to display under the wp-admin BuddyPress -> Community Stats
(just tested on WP3.0 and works)
@nuprn1 Yes, I had already checked members and groups, but still doesn’t work. My buddypress install is in a subdirectory…do you think that affects anything?
does it display in the footer (if enabled)? your theme have widget support?
i’m having the same issue. have all checked and in subdir mode…same wp3 + 1.2.4.1 = no widget showing but it does appear in the footer when enabled.
another weird one – I did setup a basic WP3.0/BP1.2.4.1/bp-default theme install on my local machine yesterday and the widget worked (it is the most basic widget possible)
so in wp-admin > appearance > widgets – it does appear and you can drag it to the sidebar and save it?
i’m going to update my production sites to wp3 in the next few days – i’ll take a closer look. If not i’ll try and setup a subdirectory install too.
@nuprn1 sure no problem – i can drag and save from wp-admin widgets: yes. I’ll try it on a some other sites with same setup see if I can narrow down.
think i may have found the problem – i’ll upload a new version today or tomorrow.
@nahummadrid @revolutionfrance updated to 0.2.0 – that should fix the widget issue (what i get for reusing code – just a single line too)
also included a wp-admin dashboard widget to display the totals (for site admin eyes only) – i’ll expand on this in the future to include some more data (last registered, number of active users, etc)
Thanks @nuprn1, it works perfectly now! Thx for your work!
