Photos not showing up in activity stream.

    BP 1.2.8
    BP Album+ 0.1.8.9

    Hi. I have the above installation. When ever a photo is uploaded to an account and marked as public, they don’t show up in the Activity stream.

    I saw one other person from 4 months ago had this issue- but no answers. Is there a resolution? I am not a programmer, but I am handy at maneuvering around php and js. So if I could be pointed in the right direction, I may be able to provide details to fix this bug.

    User has to click on “Enable comments” on items edit screen, then click “save”.

    Thanks for the info, however this is already set for my test images. But they still don’t show up in the activity stream.

    Could it be a theme issue? I am working with a child of the default theme.

    Hello again!

    I just noticed something weird. If a user goes to my profile, looks at my photos and leaves a comment on one of them I will get an update saying that so and so commented on my post, and I get a permalink to view it.

    I can follow the notification to see the permalink version of the activity update for an uploaded photo. Make sense? So although the photo never actually made it to the activity stream in the first place it has an activity permalink.

    However, it still does not show up in the activities, even with comments.

    Okay, I found my problem. My test images were limited to being viewed by friends only. What got me though is this also did not add an activity item to my user-level activity-loop.

    So for an activity item to be seen in any variation of the activity loop I need to set view level to public.
