    @thekmen

    hate to ask, but is this plugin still being developed?
    started at a fantastic pace but seems to have slowed down massively lately. I know we all need a break at times so forgive me if you are on holidays.
    Lats nightly build was over 2 weeks ago & has massive problems, some have been fixed in trunk but no new builds since.
    @foxly & @francescolaffi, any updates? seems way too quite in here.
    really hoping you finish this plugin off or at least get a beta version of 0.9 out for testing.

    lol…yes, its still being developed.

    I should point out that there are a lot of different aspects of running a project like this: we have to write the code, we have to test the code, we have to do docs, we have to answer questions in forums, and so on.

    Not hearing from us is generally a good thing. It means we’re writing code… :)

    @foxly great to hear.
    stay away longer if it means you are putting the final pieces together…
    is the not saving of keyword tags a known issue, just me or should I open a ticket on the google code tracker?

    If the not saving of keyword tags is not on the issue tracker, please add it to the issue tracker.

    @foxly @francescolaffi any updates on the plugin?
    hate to say it but it really does seem to have come to a stale state. No updates or replies in the google code base or here for weeks now.
    If waiting for BP1.2.6, perfectly understandable, but let us know if that is the issue?

    @foxly sorry for being impatient, as usual, it’s a case of needing the plugin now…

    @foxly, how far do you think you are from the “Data Model Freeze”? We’d love to run your plugin even with the bugs on our live site just as long as we know we won’t lose any of our user’s photos.

    @Gpo1 I believe they would like us to report bugs and issues here.

    Yes, this is correct.

    We will *not* investigate an issue unless there is a properly filled out issue tracker entry for it.

    We want to get *every* problem with the plugin fixed as quickly as possible, and an important part of this is using the right tools to get the job done. The forum in excellent for answering questions, but as a defect tracking tool, it sucks. That’s why we have a dedicated issue tracker: http://code.google.com/p/buddypress-media/issues/list

    When you post a problem on the issue tracker, it becomes *trackable* and *public*. That means, if we can replicate the problem, it *will* get fixed, and, by having all the problems listed in one place, other users affected by a given problem can track its status and/or use it to rule out a defect in their own code. Plus, you’ll get up-to-the-second progress updates on problems you’ve submitted.

    Don’t be afraid to post on the issue tracker. Even if you post a completely trivial problem, the absolute worst we’ll do is close the ticket.

    We’d appreciate it if our more experienced members could remind the noobs of this policy when they post bug reports in the forum.

    Thanks!
