It’s highly possible there may be a vulnerability in this plugin.
On a site without BP and without this plugin, someone attempted to open /wp-content/plugins/wp-mobile-detector/readme.txt
There are not links to that on the site, no reason for anyone to dig around in any such directory because it doesn’t and never has existed.
