Polylang not working with Buddypress

In summary, polylang is a plugin that changes the textdomain of themes and plugins to get a multilang supported wordpress website. The language information is extracted by polylang from the url (via the $_GET function). Buddypress ignores polylang.
Does anyone know how I make BuddyPress compatible with polylang?
