Private BuddyPress plugin don’t allow me to register. Why? (1 post)

  • I installed the plugin and set all options (search engines/registration) correctly. But this plugin don’t allow me to register. I see login page and below the password field there’s a link “Registration”. But when I click it, I see this login page again, not registration page. Why? WP3.0.4/BP 1.2.7 Nothing plugins else.

Could you show your config file please, it’s hard to help without seeing how you’ve set-up the plugin. If you haven’t made a config file, then see the “How can I allow members to automatically register to my private community?” in the FAQs.

I haven’t had time to work on this for a while, so maybe the register URIs have changed or something…

Try deactivating the plugin, go through the registration process on your site and make a note of all of the URIs that are required to complete the process (“Registration” URI will be the key for you, and where the link takes you to after any redirects). Add these URIs to the plugin’s config file (using the * special character where appropriate) and then the plugin will work as you desire it to.
