Private messaging and email

    I am using the private messaging feature in BuddyPress. Is it possible for the user to get an email with a copy of the private message instead of having to check the site for new messages?

    Hi @pstidsen

    It sure is possible but you’ll need to write a custom function to handle the behaviour. The hook you’ll need is messages_message_sent. It fires after a private message has been sent successfully.
