Problem: invited members can’t join ”closed” or ”hidden” courses.

Hi,

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this issue, but I have to start somewhere. I have a problem where members are unable to join courses to which they’ve been invited. I’ve recorded a short screen cast to demonstrate the problem here:

This is baffling to me… Any ideas?

I should also note that I’ve tried disabling all other plugins in case it’s a conflict issue. No dice. The problem persists even when BuddyPress and Courseware are the only plugins active.

I’m using:
WordPress version 3.4.2
BuddyPress version 1.6.1
Courseware version 0.9.7

Try this, leave just BuddyPress enabled with the default theme, and try again.
Maybe its an issue with your theme.

Yup. It must be a theme issue, because everything works fine in the BP default theme. Blast. I’m committed to the theme I’m using, and can’t turn back now. I’ll contact the theme developers for help, but in the meantime is there any part of the code I should look at to see if there are any obvious problems? (The last theme-related issue I had was just some code that was commented-out and was easy to fix once I found it.)
