Problem (?) with 1.5 logging in and admin bar

    Hi guys,

    I did a clean install of 1.5 and have two issues:

    First, when I go to /wp-admin/ to login to my WP admin account, it simply redirects back to my BP home page as a logged in user for some reason. And then going to the directory /wp-admin/ I see the WP admin screen as normal.

    Second, the admin bar appears to be the old version from 1.2. It is thin, dark grey. It doesn’t look anything like the one on TestBP with the thicker bar, avatar at top, and search at the right. I thought 1.5 is going to have a different admin bar.

    Can someone please clarify, I cannot find the answer to this. Thank you.

    The first item by design. It prevents users from being unwittingly redirected to wp-admin.

    To get the WP Admin Bar, put the following in your wp-config.php file:
    define( 'BP_USE_WP_ADMIN_BAR', true );
