Hi, I have installed Buddy Press, followed the guidelines, but the forum isnt working at all.
I have the site; http://www.prepaidmvno.net – and for some reason, I cant create “groups”, and or anything.
I have the tool bar and when I press any of the functions – example view INBOX, the link, gets reset and sends me back to the main site’s URL, any help would be useful please

Is mod_rewrite enabled in your server?

Okay, I did something – and now, when I use the navi bar it is working, but not sure now how to
(a) Create a Forum
(b) Create a Log-In for non-registered users

Buddy Press – Version 1.2.8
Word Press – 3.1.1,
Wordpress is installed as directory
Did not Upgrade WP – This is a new install via dreamhost using Buddpress Press & Pages (template)
Buddy Template Pack – Installed & Activated
Dynamic Widgets Activated
And standard WP default plugins (jetpack, askimat etc…) -but currently all not activated

Probably caused by Template Pack being out of date. Can you create groups etc if you revert to BP-Default theme?

I cant locate where I can create a group.
In Dashboard – I see the Buddy Press Menu;
General Settings –
Component Setup –
Forum Setup –
BP + Album

But cant see in any field where I can create a Group, or activate a forum…

If someone can “fix this” and help me setup the system – the site is still “raw” in fact, zero content – just NEW – I am willing to pay them through Pay Pal
