    Hi,
is there any way to add contact form to every member profile page with pre-set information according to the profile info?

    for example:

i got member “123” with email 1234@mail.com and there is contact form on his profile page. If anybody sent message from that contact form the message will contain member name (123), email (1234@mail.com) and than the message text. (of course it will also contain the email and name of the sender)

I simple want to enable all visitors send masseges from every member profile to my mail, and that massages will contain also name and email of the member from whos profile will the message be send and also the sender information.

    thx

    Hi @kypto

Are you using a contact form plugin? You’ll need one because contact form functionality doesn’t come in WordPress or BuddyPress core.

To add a member’s name and email to the form data is easy (ish) but you’ll need a contact form in place first.

yeah sure, currently its “contact form 7”

there i could manage the form right from the admin. there is field for the incoming messages, “message body”

could i use the function from buddypress here? like bp_get_member_profile_data(), or bp_member_name() ? i was just not positive that it will work, and didnt try it yet. now im just building up the structure of the web, so i just wanted to ask if it is possible.

if it is really that easy, than sorry for the silly question 🙂
