Public message as in buddypress.org

Hey, when seeing an user profile I have a button that says “Public message” and it takes me to my activity feed with the post-form including his @username to mention him/her.

I’d like to know how to get the same functionallity that bp.org has (a post-form below the user’s profile).
Could anyone help me ?
