    We use rackspacecloud.com

    We’re running WPMU 2.9.2 and BP 1.2.3 with 160ish members. No problems so far. I think we’ve gone offline like… for 30 minutes in the last 4 months?

    What have you provisioned though? bit light on detail :) Cloud space is an interesting concept with many clear advantages yet I still have this nagging doubt about it and feel more secure with a VDS or full dedicated.

    @paulhastings0, what product exactly you use: cloud sites or cloud server?
    If cloud server, some details about server-side software would be really appreciated, people ask a lot about BP scalability.

    I just moved a few site to RackSpaceCloud, CloudSites. The biggest challenge was to make sure that the .htaccess has a high enough memory limit to not get blank pages. Otherwise, the sites are faster than on the former dedicated server.

    I wasn’t sure of any advantage in using CloudServer .. maybe someone else has information on using that product.

    WP 3.0b2, BP 1.2.3. Less than 50 members.

    We’re running cloud sites (not cloud server)

    50 GB Disk Space, 500 GB Data Transfer, 10,000 Compute Cycles, per month for $100 per month.

    As I understand it, CloudSites does not support wildcards. Have I been misinformed?

    @ssilver22 Unfortunately I don’t actually know. We set up a sub-directory install instead of sub-domain.
