REALLY NEED SOME HELP WITH FRISCO THEME!!!

Hello,
I am trying to eliminate the thick black line at the bottom of buddypress Frisco child theme, but each time I delete the entire footer.php (from buddypress plugin, not the Frisco theme because it doesn’t have one) file it replaces the thick black line with “Domain is Proudly Powered by WordPress and under it says Entries RSS and Comments RSS” and another thick black line.
Can anyone help me find this and get rid of it!?
