    @osasko

    Hi,

    I have added some info to my register.php , such as user location and date of birth.

    The sign-up page looks exactly how I want it , the only problem now is that after all the fields are filled in and I press “complete sign-up” , nothing happens and it stays on the sign-up page.

    Is there any other files that I need to modify , like activate.php or something?

    Thanks

    Don’t modify core files.

    You add new fields to registration from the backend in the BuddyPress menu area. just fill out what you want and they get added automagically.

    Hi,

    Thanks , Ok will do it from Buddypress.

    197 Countries in a drop-down list will take a bit of time=)

    Just one question – how do you change “name” to “full name” , because I don’t think you can edit that from Buddypress menu area?

    Hi, not really sure what either of those are =)

    But it is added to sign-up page and then shown under the users’ profile.
