Registration + Extended Profiles question

No link to the site since the functionality is not publicly accessible.

I have BP 1.8.1 and WP 3.6.1 installed and am using User Access Manager (v 1.2.4.3, Alexander Schneider) to create groups of users who have permission to view the main content of my website, the pages of which are hidden from menu view on my main page via use of Exclude or include Pages, Tags, Posts & Categories (v 1.0.7, mayerz).

I have created my users’ accounts manually and want to continue with this — I do not want to provide a registration functionality.

I gather that the Extended Profiles component allows for new users to enter custom profile info as they are registering. Since my users won’t be registering themselves, will these custom fields be present in the regular WP user profiles for them to update? And will I need to do anything to turn off the registration functionality?

Thanks for any thoughts and guidance.

@ranebo You can disable registration by going to Settings > General and making sure registration is not enabled.

The users can only fill out whatever Extended Profile Fields the Site/Super Admin created in the backend via Users > Profile Fields, users cannot create new profile fields. These profile fields can only be edited by the user in the front end via Member Profile Screens and not in the back end via User > Your Profie
