I have a local install of WP and BP for a company Intranet. I want to remove the Email and Website part from the commenting section because it is not needed. I have looked at the comments.php but did not find the proper code to comment out. Can anyone direct me where to look to accomplish this?

It depends on what theme you’re using. You can sometimes find additional codes for the comments in the theme’s functions.php file

I still have yet to figure this out. I have created a child theme to the default BuddyPress theme. I simply want to remove both the Email & Website input boxes.

Is there somewhere in the comments or functions file that I need to look?

Never done it myself, but i think comment_form accepts some arguments for that kinda of thing. Though since your question is more wordpress related, and you have buddypress installed I’d use buddypress activity comments rather than the wordpress ones anyway
