Removing Messaging?

    I am also concerned about the messaging feature of BP. Can I remove the “Messages” feature and if so how? I don’t think admin would approve of students sending messages back and forth. They don’t seem to mind the “Wire” feature since it is public.

    I am thinking I can begin introducing our student blogging platform next week. Can’t wait!!!

    Thanks to those who have been patient in answering my previous posts. It’s helped get my site ready to rumble.

    Chris,

    You should just be able to delete the bp-messages.php file and bp-messages directory from mu-plugins, and it will disappear from the site all together.

    Awesome! Too easy!

    This has been remarkably easy to install and setup. I tried deleting the folder and it was causing errors, so I thought it might have been built in and not able to delete.
