[Resolved] How to add a translation file to buddypress

Hi
I just install buddy press on my word press blog, I completely failed to add a translation file to buddypress..
I already try to add it to (wp-content/languages) and (wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-languages) but it did not work, I use the last version 1.5.5 so I think I did not need to write anything to bp-custom.php.
I download the translation file from here

I use the same name, for example “buddypress-dev-ar.mo” Is this right or should I name the file in a different way?

@mercime Yes it is Arabic.
I named the file exactly as you write (buddypress_ar_SA.mo) as my country is SA too , but it did not work
