[Resolved] Translating to Norwegian with custom labels

Hi,

I am currently working on a norwegian site that I need to translate with my own custom labels. Is their any guide how to do this with .po-files? I have installed poEditor, what do I do now?

I also do not know how I get the .po-translation to be visible on my site… Yikes!

`Move the PO and MO files to /wp-content/languages/ on your server.
If the /wp-content/languages/ folder does not exist, create it!

Also, make sure you have enabled the same language on the WordPress “Settings > General” admin page`

It is not an option to change language in the “Settings > General”. How can I solve this?

@wwwanders you don’t move language files via Settings > General. You can upload the language files directly to wp-content/languages/ folder on your server via FTP/cPanel/File Manger, etc.

I had to change the WP_lang in the wp-config.php. In the documentation it seems that this is an option you have in Setting>General. This was the cause of the confusion.
