[Resolved] Widgets Admin Page Not Functioning Correctly – Genesis theme

    @jonnylons

    For some reason, when I log into the Buddypress portion of my WordPress multi-site, I am getting an error ONLY on the widgets page in the admin section.

    That is, the widgets.php page.

    Only on that page, the drag and drop feature of the widgets is not working. Not to mention the areas designated for the widgets – sidebars, etc. – are not showing up. Also, there is no Buddypress admin navbar at the top.

    I suspected it was a plugin issue, so I deactivated most every plugin (save the ones which I have been using on other sites). That doesn’t seem to be the issue.

    I am using the Buddypress default theme and running the latest versions of WP and BP.

    I tried to use the Google Libraries plugin, as suggested by an older thread.

    I’m out of ideas. Any thoughts?

    @jonnylons

    Found the problem – it was plugin based.

    I am using the Genesis theme and had a plugin called Genesis Tabs. This allows for you to have category posts tabbed on your front page and would have to be network activated in order to use it. At any rate, this was causing the issue. I am going to follow up with the folks at Studiopress and see if they have any solutions.

    Hope this helps somebody!
