Reverbnation in activity stream?

I’m having a difficult time adding Reverbnation links to my activity stream. Has anyone been successful in doing this?
So far I’ve added:
wp_oembed_add_provider( ‘#http://(www.)?reverbnation.com/*#i’, ‘http://reverbnation.com/oembed’, true );
Into my functions.php to no avail…
