RS BuddyPress Causes Brajesh’s Unified Search Screen to slow/lock

Just uncovered this, while trying to tweak the Unified-Search on my site. When searching using Brajesh’s code/plugin (http://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-global-unified-search/) the screen will freeze/slow/lock in the browswer when the activity is tried to “refresh”. Maybe this is because multiple items are show: activity/groups/forums, etc.
If possible, maybe the solution is to somehow exclude the search page with RS ReFresh plugin?
