Excellent plugin. One request, is it possible to connect RSS to the hashtags plugin? What I mean is, if someone clicks on a popular hashtag and view all the updates containing that tag on the tag page, can a RSS feed be generated for that page and tag? That way members can subscribe to any hashtags.

@nuprn1 when viewing a tag page, you can only post status updates to your profile and not to any groups you belong to. The dropdown to select where you want to post updates is only “My Profile”. None of the groups you belong to is visible.

i can’t seem to replicate that in a few test installs, did you make any theme edits to post-form.php or something to bp_has_groups loop?

No. Not at all. When viewing a tag page, I can only post to my profile

@nuprn1 – still can’t post to groups when viewing a hashtag page eg http://mydomain.com/activity/tag/mytag

If I want to implement RSS into your plugin, where will I start?

that makes sense after you implemented http://buddypress.org/community/groups/creating-extending/forum/topic/forum-create-only-available-to-certain-members/?topic_page=2&num=15 – as that would remove the groups in the drop down for regular members.

when testing on my demo site – as a group-admin/mod/siteadmin – i see the group drop down and can post status updates to a selected group when viewing a hashtag http://etivite.com/activity/tag/hashtags

as for rss – i’m not sure yet. I haven’t even looked at it.

@nuprn1 -The rss feature is excellent. Thanks.

Still cannot view the groups I created on the drop down when viewing a hashtag page. Logged in as an administrator/normal user and cannot view anything from the drop down – it only displays “my profile” on the dropdown but on the normal activity page the dropdown displays all the groups I have created.
