    1.2.1 beta is now ready for WordPress and WordPress MU without Buddypress.

    I added new meta fields for post and pages.

    New Version is compatible with wpSEO and All in One Seo.

    Sorry for my English. I want to say it still works, if you disable buddypress. Some users asked me for this, they like to use Seo for buddypress for there post and pages in wpmu without buddypress.
    Hope this answer your question :)

    On my test site it`s working…

    You have to go to General Seo and update the General Seo Options ones for the plugin to work.
    Sorry, I will make this more clear in the next version.

    As described copied files, activated, pressed update on General Seo Options. Nothing updated, all default titles from BP.

    I also tried delete all options from db through your plugin, it does not delete either.

    Do you know what can be going wrong?

    @svenl77 thats the first thing i did once i activated it doesnt show the new titles, just shows the default titles from buddypress

    Version 1.1 is a tested stable version for bp 1.2.3 and wp 2.9.2. Please use this one. 1.2.x is in development and I won’t have time before next week to continue on this plugin.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    @Svenl77 what did you mean with that “it works with wpSEO and All in One Seo???”
    should i use Seo for Buddypress 1.2.1 beta with one of this (wpSEO or All in One Seo) together?
    what is the difference if i use it as stand alone or together???? sorry but i dont understand!!!

    @Svenl77 I was wondering when you would have the 1.2x stable? I want to use it on my site along with the the All in one seo. I’m running BP 1.2.3 and WP 2.9.2. and right now I lost all my rankings because the All in one is not compatible with Buddypress. I’m glad to hear that you made the seo for buddypress compatible with the All in one but which plugin will overwrite the main blogs Title, description etc if they are both active? Which one will overwrite the idividual posts title, descriptions etc for subdomains if they are both active? Any feedback would be helpful and keep up the great work.
    Thanks,

    @0815
    You do not need to use any other SEO plugin. Seo for buddypress is designed, to work as standalone full SEO tool. No need of any other software.

    @mark @gregfielding
    Compatible means, that the data you have inserted into posts with the other plugins, will be taken over to our plugin. So you don’t have to worry, that you’re loosing your data, if you want to change to our plugin. It don’t means, that you should use both plugins. The wording “compatible” is a bit unlucky ;-)

    The stable relies of the 1.2.x version will come in around one week

    I’m running MU…wouldn’t sub-blogs still use All-In-One SEO? They don’t have your SEO option on their post page.

    @gregfielding You need to activate the plugin sidewide.

    So far its work perfect for me :?) Waiting for next updates!

    @Svenl77 Thanks for the quick reply. So if I understand you correctly, I only need to have the Seo for Buddypress Active site wide and it will pull the titles tags descriptions etc from all the posts that were inputed into the all in seo and it will do this across all my sub-domains. I then assume its does this for pages also across all subdomains. I also assume it does this for all my existing blog titles descirptions etc? I then leave the All in Seo as not active? or can it be unistalled? I’m not a developer so please excuse my ignorance. Thanks again for all the help

    @mark, this is 100% right. That’s how it should work. You can deactivate and delete All in one. The values are saved in the post meta. And will not be lost.
    But wait for the new version coming this day.
    In the 1.2.1 version there is a conflict with the auto save function, and you are loosing your meta data

    @Svenl77 got it thanks, FYI, I downloaded 1.2.3 but I can’t find where to set up the plugins features.(general seo etc) It is not showing up anywhere in dashboard like it was before.

    @mark Same issue for me. Just installed this but can’t find any general settings options in the dashboard areas.

    I am running a single install of WP 2.9.2 and BP 1.2.4.1
    I can see SEO options in pages and posts but nothing to do with a setup option anywhere.
    Any advice people?

    @Svenl77. Thanks for fixing it. I don’t clearly understand what to do under the plugins seo. I’m using Bp links and Gallery and I selected directory views, then check to extend to other components and uses other components, then click update components configuration and i don’t see any changes anywhere except the check boxes disappear? I assume something was suppose to be generated so that I can write in the meta info? Please let me know thanks.

    One other question which might be a dumb one, With this plugin, If a certain post is missing title, description, tags etc then does google not see any data on the post? Or does google see what was actually written in the post instead? I’m wondering if i need to go back to older posts that I had been lazy with and previously not written any seo into it and have to fill it all out now? Thanks again
