SEO with a static home page

I set my test site with a static home page under Settings/Reading. This is an important page since this is the home and it needs the SEO parameters, but when I use this static page the SEO title that I entered is lost and it just says “sitename | Home”. I could not find any way to set the title, etc.
Is it possible to do it with the current version of SEO for BP?

I was just wondering when SEO for BP with the static home page bug fix was going to come out?

Also, do you think SEO for BP will work with WP 3.0?
