Sure it does. Not sure how well it works with BP tho…
Doesn’t the Activity stream in BP show all the lateast posts as well?
Got a link to your site?
@andrea_r yes it shows all posts from other subdomain blogs in activity list. but i want all posts from all subdomain blogs to be displayed dynamically in the main page (home) as it shows my own posts now.
it wud b nice if there is a easy way to remove any post from displaying on main page if i find that post objectionable. (although the post remains in the authors blog. i don’t want to delete every post i find objectionable
)
please have a look http://rkmfamily.com/
(NB- i want to make the site ‘invite only’. any help on how that cud be done?)
i also wanna display all posts that users posted on a home.. is there any way to do that?
You can create a custom widgetized template for your home page.
See http://wpmu.org/how-to-widgetize-a-page-post-header-or-any-other-template-in-wordpress/
Then use the “Recent Site-Wide Posts” widget in “Appearance” > “Widgets”.
@pcwriter
It’s working perfectly! Thanks a lot!!!!
Great! Glad I could help.
In reply to Desi ninja: ” Is there a way to do this with me having the ability to remove any post from homepage (only) if i want.?”
Running any other users blog you choose in the admin blog can be done by inserting their blog url in the admins link list under whatever category you choose. Then install the feedwordpress widget (http://feedwordpress.radgeek.com/ ). In ‘syndication’ which appears in the left of your dashboard go to ‘feeds and updates’>feed information>syndicated link category , choose the list where you keep sub-domain blogs urls or feeds. In the regular bp theme the admin blog will show each posters avatar however, but their posts all show in your posts so that you can delete each from there.
