Please help me beta test the next version of SI CAPTCHA

I have tested it in WP – WPMU – BuddyPress and it works for me.

Your testing can help me to be sure..

Here are the changes in this BETA release:

= 1.9 BETA =

– (24 Sep 2009) – Added full WPMU and BuddyPress compatibility. WPMU and BuddyPress users can now protect comment form, registration, and login from spam.

– Added login form CAPTCHA. The Login form captcha is not enabled by default because it might be annoying to users. Only enable it if you are having spam problems related to bots automatically logging in.

– New feature: An “advanced options” section to the options page. Some people wanted to change the text labels for the CAPTCHA and code input field.

These advanced options fields can be filled in to override the standard included text labels.

– Added new advanced options for editing inline CSS style of captcha image, audio image, and reload image.

– Minor code cleanup.

thank you, I installed your plugin on wpmu 2.8.4a and buddypress 1.0.3 but the captcha is not shown on signup.

should i use the php comment code also in the registerpage?

Thanks for testing.

Did you install in plugins or mu-plugins?

Did you activate the plugin?

What version does it say it is?

9 hours ago I uploaded beta Version: 1.9.2

It had a fix for changing settings on WPMU forced activation installs.

Make sure the plugin is newest version or it may contain wpmu related bugs.

Mike: You may want to look at updating this for BuddyPress 1.1 since the registration page has been re-written to make it easier to edit.

I am confused, and new to Buddypress.

Where is 1.1?

You can get BP 1.1 RC1 from SVN via https://svn.buddypress.org/tags/1.1-rc/ or as a zip from https://trac.buddypress.org/changeset/1946/tags/1.1-rc?old_path=%2F&format=zip

OK I found the Buddypress beta 1.1 page but I am not sure where to look for what to change and also make it backward compatible.

If I install beta 1.1,how would I test on 1.0.3?

My time is limited and I have spent too much time on this lately.

Any suggestions?

Looks good, but I’d recommended changing the hook

bp_before_account_details_fields

to

bp_before_registration_submit_buttons

for better positioning on the registration page.

Thanks for the suggestion I changed it.

beta Version: 1.9.4

PS. I am having a CSS problem with the layout of the registration page. The wigets are trying to display in the middle of the page instead of the right hand side.It is not related to the captcha, because it still happens with SI captcha uninstalled.

Is this a reported bug or should I report it?

The design problem was a bug in the RC, it has been fixed in the latest trunk.
