    Hi

I am having trouble with the sidebars in the profile section of BuddyPress.

all of the pages, blogs etc come up under the page contents but no sidebars like on the rest of the site. it is working fine in the forums (using bbpress) but not in the profile sections.

    I am using the following:
    WordPress 3.5.1
    BuddyPress 1.6.4
    BuddyPress Template Pack 1.2.1
    bbPress 2.2.4
    s2Member Framework 130203

    website: http://www.environmentalfootprintsolutions.com.au

I have managed to remove most of the additional stuff in the profile section but still have it in forums and settings section. I did this by deleting the sidebar call.

I want to be able to control the sidebars from the page section of the admin area.

    can you please help.

    Josh

@jny986 Open up your theme’s page.php file, copy all code, paste in pastebin.com, click submit and post the generated pastebin URL here. We need to see theme’s code. Will let you know whether we can help you here.

@jny986 initial scan of the theme on your site shows that you’d need to change 17 template files from the 6 BuddyPress folders transferred to your theme’s folder in your server during the BP Compatibility process. Two things:
    1. You could wait for BP 1.7 so that you won’t need to go through this process (10 active tickets https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/roadmap)
    2. If you can’t wait, then paste the codes of your header.php, sidebar.php, and footer.php files in pastebin.com as well and post the generated URL’s here. Please also post the official demo URL of the k9 theme so I can double-check the theme’s default HTML structure

@jny986 thanks, but i do not want to download the theme.
Re BP 1.7 – no definite release date, possibly within the month or so, not sure.
