Simplify?

    Not to complain or anything, but it seems a little non-intuitive to ask users to use brackets to designate search terms. I wonder if there’s a simpler way to do this? Perhaps a graphical interface where the user would highlight the word and then click “linkify”?

    Yeah, I’ve been mulling that kind of change for a long time. I should talk to JJJ, as I know he’s been overhauling xprofile and had once mentioned including something like this in the core. Otherwise to write the JavaScript to do what you say wouldn’t be too hard.
