some notifications can’t be viewed

http://yourdomain.com/groups/group-name/?n=1 page redirects to /groups/ and notification never disappears from admin bar.
this is a notification that says: Your group membership has been accepted. group was a hidden one.

Thanks for spotting that! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to take a look at it until Monday.

Just to be clear: this is the notification that you get when you request to join a group and then are accepted, right?

yes, you are correct. you request to join a group and after accept you get a notification for that. i thank you for fixing these. you are until now one of the extremely rare plugin developers that actually respond.

A new version has just been posted, addressing the notification issue you found.

Thanks again for all your help finding these bugs. It’s nice to get feedback on problems instead of just empty complaints.
