HI

I am using the latest version of Buddypress and am wondering if there is any way of making subgroups/forums (or a plugin to do so – I don’t know PHP). What I want to do for example is (amonst other groups) create a group an based on different towns or city for example – London, then within the London forum I would like forum headings such as 1. places to eat 2. culture 3. sports facilities. At the moment I can’t see a way of doing this all I seem to be able to do is make a group and forum called London and underneath that people can post all sorts of questions (ie no structure). Any help much appreciated.

Hey TR123,

Short answer: Right now, you can’t.

There are a couple of requests in the Trac for group categories:

I don’t anticipate this coming in 2009; I’m guessing something like this will come in the New Year.
