@robsimm hi there. You mentioned that you used BP template pack plugin previously. I hope you followed instructions to back up your theme folder with the BP folders which includes revised BP template files. Open one of those template files e.g. /groups/index.php, copy source code and post to pastebin.com. Post the link to the generated pastebin.com page so I can take a look at what worked for you before.

Hi @mercime – thanks for getting back to me so quick.

I did indeed backup all of the old files.

Please find the pastebin.com link, below:

    Thanks!

@robsimm the code you posted in pastebin.com shows you didn’t make any changes to the BP template files to make it compatible with your CStar theme. Cool. D

Based on the premise above, create a new file named buddypress.php and post the code found at http://pastebin.com/5uzN2S8a Save file and upload to your theme folder in server.

@mercime – thanks again for getting back to me.

I have applied the content of http://pastebin.com/5uzN2S8a to the theme’s root folder called ‘buddypress.php’ and one again the installation is still broken :(. I.E., the content is rendered in wide only and not with sidebar my theme had with BuddyPress Template Pack installed.

My bad 🙁 I posted the link you gave in your first post, not the pastebin.com link to the one I created at http://pastebin.com/gAUN3ZWH which has the HTML structure of the BP Default theme.

Actually I am surprised that the unchanged BP template’s HTML structure per source code you posted earlier worked with your layout in the first place. So if the above doesn’t work, try this one for buddypress.php http://pastebin.com/TvrF53DR
