theory behind points for posts/topics

    Not getting this aspect at the moment:

    Points for New Group Forum Topic:
    Points for New Group Forum Post:

    Creating a new forum topic bestows points for both of the above?

    BuddyPress calls both of those actions when creating a new post. Unless I missed an action that just runs when a new forum topic runs.

    BP is confused then?

    Not really sure what BP thinks the difference between a ‘Post’ and a ‘topic’ is in this instance but just smacks of the overall confusion that seems to exist with activity and content *sigh*

    Ya, not sure why it calls both actions but it does.
