  • Getting the same error on a fresh install of BP 1.2.6. I turned off all the BP plugins and the error persists. I’m trying to add BP to a long-existing site but it’s hard to get started without being able to create groups…

Wow it looks like mine goes a bit farther than this. It won’t let me post status updates, private messages, etc. All with that generic, red error message.

What would be stopping all BP data entry? I can still leave comments on posts just fine…

@clarklab Do you have access to the database? Have the wp_bp_ tables been created properly? If not, try deactivating BP and then switching it back on.

Aha! You’re one step ahead of me. I was just about to report I looked at the DB and didn’t see the tables. I switched it off and on and they still aren’t there…

    Any ideas?

Same problem, tried it all. WP 3.0.2, actual BuddyPress, no plugins (BP of course…). I can’t add anything. Have de-/activated BP for several times. Adding posts is working well.

WP 3.0 and BP 1.2.8, and I have the same problem. Which was submitted 1 year ago and still unsolved?! Several “I think so, ” “try that. ” It is very difficult to trust a software so fragile …

Second time you’ve posted this exact same comment on month old threads, not a lot of point really dragging up old posts.

Please start a new post about your issues and someone will try and help.
