This is so weird .. I cannot create posts, pages or update them either

    The one moment I was still busy creating a page and saved it. Success! Then I made changes and clicked on update and it just does not update. Neither can I make a new page. The s2member block where you add the ‘page restrictions’ not working, I can only submit for review and then the page just disappears.

    What did I do wrong?

    I don’t think this problem has anything to do with BuddyPress?

    How do I restore the database? I think maybe that could be the problem.

    Before doing that – disable all your plugins back to just base WordPress

    Can you post again now without problem?

    If you can post ok, add your plugins back one at a time, testing until you find the one causing the problem.

    You restore a DB from a backup, have you taken a backup? if not get in the habit quickly it’s essential and also absolutely essential to perform before you go anywhere near one to start manually editing tables, which can be a dangerous exercise.

    Good news for all the people here! Bring out the champagne and let’s have a party.

    I repaired my database from within my cpanel, and it is working fine again!!!
