I am having troubles setting the ‘x hours x minutes’ ago on the Site Wide Activity Widget on my new BP install.

My server time is set correctly and displays my current time to me when I view it in webmin. 3:08 pm, I’m -7.

I set -7 in the main blog and the one sub-blog I have, and in the General settings it shows the correct time to me, which is 3:08 pm.

When I insert a the_time() function in the single.php to view the time the post was posted, it is correct.

However, on the Site Wide Activity Widget, it’s giving 9 hours ago as the time the post was posted. This is incorrect, as I just posted the post seconds ago. Any ideas what I have to do to get this to change?
