tinymce fullscreen tools showing in non-fullscreen view
-
I hope this is the right place to post this. I’m tearing out my hair trying to fix this problem.
I’m running WordPress 3.2.1 with only two plugins activated: BuddyPress 1.2.9 and BuddyPress ScholarPress Courseware 0.1.6. I’m using the default BuddyPress theme. No other plugins are activated.
Here’s the problem: when I click “New Assignment” I see a bunch of stuff I’m not supposed to be seeing. I see a link to “Exit fullscreen” and a bunch of icons for various WYSIWYG tools (to make text bold, italic, etc.). In this view, all of these should be hidden. None of these should appear until I click the fullscreen icon in the toolbar above the textarea for the body of the assignment. Clicking the fullscreen icon does nothing, btw.
The reason I am posting here is because when I use a tinymce-enabled textarea in my WP Admin (like to add a new post) it works and displays as expected.
I’ve tried it on Firefox 5.0, Chrome 12.0 and IE 9.0 and I see the same thing in all places. You can try it for yourself here by logging in to my site here:

http://carverhigh.net/groups/fall-2011-guitar/courseware/new_assignmentIf I had to guess, I’d say it’s a broken style and broken javascript somewhere. But this code is fairly complex, so I wanted to post this somewhere that both users and developers could let me know what might be wrong.
I apologize if I’ve omitted any pertinent information. Please let me know if you need more information and I’ll supply it.
Thanks!
