Topic status and answers

I think it would be quite a useful feature if topics could be tagged or given the status of open, resolved, etc (similar to how WordPress.org does it).
On top of that, it would also be useful if users could vote on the best answer (similar to how stack overflow does it).
I think these are two crucial features that make their forums so useful in solving problems.
