Hello im fairly new to wordpress and buddypress and everything is going well but now i think im heading into the difficult part of what i want to accomplish.

Is there a way that i can add topics on top of the activity wall to create some conversation? At the top i would like to add different topics kind of like in a slideshow.

Im trying to get some conversation started on different school subjects and I would love to have a slideshow with the different things that we are talking about in class? Maybe there is a plugin or something that will allow me to do something like this or someone has a different idea for what i can do i would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
