    @wurzelwerk

    hello,

    as you can see on this picture it was not possible to translate the whole activity meta string.

    http://de.tinypic.com/r/2d85oua/5

    i’ve tried it with poedit and with the codestyling-localization plugin, but there was no change with “Comment ()”.

    where can i find this “Comment()” in the code or what can i do?
    thanks

    hallo @wurzelwerk,

    you probably use an old translation file… Actually this string is written without brackets ! ;-)

    As of BP 1.9.1, the string you’re looking for is in two files.
    You have to check for “Comment <span>%s</span>”
    bp-templates/bp-legacy/bddypress/activity/entry.php:58
    bp-themes/bp-default/activity/entry.php:60

    Don’t modify these files directly, but use a child theme (you’ll loose your changes at the next update if you don’t do so). Just copy the whole BP folder contained in bp-legacy to your child.

    If you use a third party theme, check the code of the string in the theme’s “entry.php”. Maybe there is an error or something missing.

    Maybe reading the Codex can help you further: http://codex.buddypress.org/developer/translations/

    Tchüss !
