I want to upgrade from bp album to bp media because I read that it is more efficient. Can someone link me to some upgrade instructions on how to migrate from bp album to bp media without losing my current content.

I am one of the developers for BuddyPress Media. We hadn’t had any plans for an importer till some time ago. However, since users have been asking for it, we’ll add this soon.
