Uploading avatars for other users

    I am pre-uploading avatars for BuddyPress users. It all works fine but at the end when the cropping is complete and the page reloads, it loads MY user profile, not the one for whom I have just uploaded an avatar. I am running the latest WP (3.8.1) and BuddyPress (1.9.2). I am pretty sure this was not happening in previous versions, although I do not remember the exact version combination where it did not do this.
