Uploading Error!

    I can’t figure out how to fix this!

    I’ve tried everything, from creating php.ini files to editing the permissions to 777 on the uploads folder.

    Help!

    (layman’s terms, please!)

    UGH, now I got this: Upload Failed! Error was: Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/avatars/1/avatars/1. Is its parent directory writable by the server? That is a permissions problem, right?

    Please contact your host this is a server issue not BP one, also check the WP codex for guides on correct file perms & ownership (correct user/group perms are the issue here)

    And do not change any file to 777 ‘world writeable’ it’s extremely unsafe and unnecessary.
