Use Moderation on only one site rather than whole network?

I have a network of WordPress sites, only one site has BuddyPress activity stream where I like the Flag appearing. Unfortunately the ‘Flag this content as inappropriate’ also appears posts across all of the network sites.

Is there anyway to restrict the ‘Flag’ to just the BuddyPress site?

  • Did you activate the plugin “network wide”? Maybe you can activate it just for the site that it’s running on, rather than for the entire network.

Hi Paul. I was going to ask you direct on Twitter but thought I try here first. It appears that the plugin can’t be enable only on a per blog basis, at least not on my install. Should it?

Sometimes it is set like that for a very good reason. It may not work at all on a per-site basis. But if you want to test it yourself, in one of the plugin’s .php files, there will be a block of comments near the top of the file with “Network only: true” or “site wide only” true” or similar. Remove that line, and WordPress will let you activate that plugin on a per-site basis.

Thanks Paul. I’ve made the change in the plugin PHP and it’s had the desired effect of making it activatable on a per site basis. Problem now is that I can’t find the moderation menu in either the individual blog dashboard or the network dash. Thanks for your help, I guess you win some, you lose some.
